Answering some of the most
frequently asked questions
Who are the coaches?
All our tutors are highly qualified language trainers with lots of experience.
How good are the coaches?
All our coaches are helpful, knowledgeable and patient. We choose only the very best – qualifications, experience and personality.
Will I always have the same coach?
If that’s what was agreed with you, yes – you can expect to have the same coach (unless your coach has an emergency – illness, a sick child, etc. in which case we will either reschedule with you or provide you a suitable replacement).
Do you speak my language?
All of us speak at least one other foreign language, but we will communicate with you in English.
Do you teach all ages?
Younger learners are important to us, and we are happy to work with children aged 10 or over. We can give your child help and support with homework and / or areas of weakness. Or perhaps they just need help to improve faster – especially help with building their language skills. Please book your FREE consultation with us (up to 30 minutes) so we can choose a coach for you who not only has a DBS check (formerly Criminal Records Bureau checks), but also has skills and experience in the subjects your child needs to work on (for example Maths).
Do you offer home visits?
Sorry, but we only provide coaching via video.
Will my internet connection be fast enough?
You need a network connection fast enough to use Skype or FaceTime. When you start to work with us, we can direct you towards links that will help you check your broadband speed.
Can I use an alternative video service to Skype?
We currently use Skype (which works on different computer operating systems) although some of us use FaceTime. We prefer to concentrate on the coaching rather than the technology, but if you would like to use a different video service please do ask us about this.
What types of payment do you accept?
You can pay us using Visa, MasterCard, American Express and a range of other cards. If you need to use a payment method that is not yet available please do let us know. We hope to add more possibilities over time.
What is IELTS?
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is the world’s leading test of English for higher education and migration. Over 2 million IELTS tests are taken every year, and this number is increasing.
Are you officially connected to the IELTS organisation?
No. We are completely independent from the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) organisation.
